Materials & Craftsmanship
What's really in an EFTOM piece — no vague promises, just what it's made of.
The Base — 925 Sterling Silver
Every EFTOM piece starts with 925 sterling silver — 92.5% pure silver, nickel-tested and safe for sensitive skin. It's the same foundation used across fine jewelry, chosen for its weight, its finish, and how it wears over time.
The Finish — Gold Plated
Our gold pieces are gold-plated sterling silver — a real layer of gold applied over the silver base. We call it exactly what it is: gold plated, not vermeil. With a few simple habits, the finish holds up beautifully. Full care instructions are on our Jewelry Care page.
The Stones — Cubic Zirconia & Moissanite
We work with two stones: Cubic Zirconia, bright and precision-cut, and Moissanite, rarer and closer to a diamond's brilliance. Each product page tells you exactly which stone it's set with — see our Moissanite vs. Zirconia page for the full comparison.
A Few Notes
- Every order is recorded on video — product detail and final packing — before it leaves our studio, so what you see is exactly what ships.
- We don't use vague terms like "diamond alternative" without telling you exactly what's in your piece.
- Questions about the materials in a specific piece? Reach out at info@eftom.com — we're happy to walk you through it.
No mystery, no overpromising — just what it's made of, and why we chose it.
